Dr Bindit Patel is a board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr Patel has had a long and very varied career, over more than 20 years, since he graduated from medical school in 1995. After earning Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from India in 1995, he earned an advanced post-graduate medical degree in Internal Medicine from G.G.Hospital of Gujarat, India in 1999. Later on, he started working at Cardiology Institute in Ahmedabad, India as a cardiology fellow before he moved to USA in 2002. Dr. Patel joined his internship and residency specializing in primary care medicine at Muhlenberg Medical Center, affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and University at New Jersey in 2005. Upon completion of residency in 2008, Dr. Patel moved to North Carolina and started working as a hospitalist physician at several different hospitals before joining WakeMed Hospital in Cary, NC in January 2010.
In 2011, Dr Patel opened CaryMed Primary Care to promote high quality and complete health care services in the field of Internal Medicine. At CaryMed Primary Care, Dr Patel believes in patient education and he does spend quality time with his patients to answer their questions to make sure they understand their diseases. He does have reputation as a thorough, knowledgeable and caring doctor.
Dr. Patel is happily married to his wife, Rekha who is office manager at CaryMed Primary Care. They have two children: Shaina and Aarin. When away from office, he enjoys reading books, listening music and spending time with family.
